CHOCTAW, Miss. (May 13, 2008) The new entertainment schedule at Pearl River Resort rolls on as comedian Sinbad makes a stop on Thursday, June 5.
For more than two decades, Sinbad has entertained crowds with his humor. His popularity spun from starring in movies such as “Jingle All the Way,” “Houseguest” and “Necessary Roughness,” and from appearing in television shows like “A Different World” and “The Sinbad Show.” He has also received awards for series which aired on HBO.
Sinbad claims his success in comedy stems from learning the game of basketball. He is a former University of Denver standout and he takes that competitive, never-give-in approach from the court to the stage.
